Accept the fact that you need to be saved.

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

"Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3 

Realize you cannot save yourself.

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us." Titus 3:5

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

Believe Jesus Christ has provided for your salvation.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him hould not perrish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"Who (Jesus) His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." 1 Peter 2:24

By an act of faith, receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised HIm from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

"As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." John 1:12

"Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."
